يوثق هذا المستودع 137 لقطات الشاشة الأولية المحفوظة و1,505 طلبات الاستئناف المدققة المقدمة من الضحايا والتي توضح بالتفصيل Valve طريقة المعالجة الآلية لتذاكر الدعم. ويثبت ذلك أنه عندما تتعرض الحسابات للاختراق عبر إعادة التوجيه عبر OpenID أو إنشاء مفاتيح API غير مصرح بها، فإن Steam Support تستخدم بشكل منهجي ردود رفض جاهزة وموحدة دون إجراء أي تحقيق فني. ومن خلال الرفض القاطع لاستعادة العناصر أو الكشف عن سجلات التدقيق، تحوّل المنصة المسؤولية الكاملة عن عيوب المصادقة الهيكلية إلى أصحاب الحسابات المخترقة.

Valve تدعي الشركة في حملاتها التسويقية ومنشوراتها على المنتديات أنها تطبق نظامًا فعالاً لإنفاذ القواعد يحمي أمن المستخدمين. لكن في الواقع، يواجه ضحايا اختطاف الحسابات، وعمليات الاحتيال عبر إعادة التوجيه API، وعمليات استنزاف المخزون الآلية، آلية رفض مؤسسية تعتمد على «النسخ واللصق» وتقوم بإغلاق التذاكر دون أي تحقيق بشري.

قدمت إحدى الضحايا رقم SteamID64 الخاص بحسابات المخترق خلال فترة تعليق التداول اليومي في لعبة «7-». ورفض موظفو الدعم «أرتيم» و«إيليا» تجميد العناصر المسروقة، متذرعين بندرة العناصر الافتراضية، وأغلقوا التذكرة باستخدام نموذج آلي.

قبل أسبوع واحد بالضبط من قيام موقع «Valve» بفرض فترة التجميد المثيرة للجدل في التداول اليومي «7-» على عناصر لعبة «Counter-Strike»، اكتشف مجتمع المتداولين أول حالات حقيقية لـ **Steam استغلال ثغرة إعادة التوجيه في موقع API**. قام المهاجمون باختطاف جلسات الويب لإنشاء مفتاح غير مصرح به لـ API على `steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey` دون الحاجة إلى هاتف محمول 2تأكيد من الاتحاد الإنجليزي لكرة القدم (FA)، مما يتيح للروبوتات إلغاء الصفقات وتبادلها في الوقت الفعلي.

**تحذير من الحملة العامة "2018" لشهر مارس:** *"يمكن للمحتالين اكتشاف عرض التبادل هذا تلقائيًا ورفضه من حسابك، لأنهم يمتلكون مفتاحك الخاص بـ Steam API. وسيقوم روبوت الاحتيال الآن بإرسال عرض تبادل إليك لنفس الأسطح... ولن تلاحظ أي فرق!"*
